Glenbow Mandate
Glenbow is committed to its focus on western Canadian heritage and enhancing its status as western Canada's foremost cultural institution, serving Alberta and beyond. Its geographic collecting priority is the northwestern quadrant of North America, but it will also collect material from other regions of Canada and other regions of the world.
Glenbow will maintain its multi-disciplinary approach including an artifact-based, human history museum, art gallery, library and archives. Glenbow will collect material from the entire continuum of human history.
