Families First workshops are 45 minutes long and begin with a thematic look at the exhibitions, then go on to art activities for the whole family. Appropriate for ages 3 and up. Free with admission.

Sunday, November 3, 1996 at 2:30 p.m.: Fairy Tale Murals uses fairy tales and the Arthur Crisp exhibition to explore the use of murals in storytelling.

Sunday, December 1, 1996 at 2:30 p.m.: The Pictures in Music program explores the role of music in the inspiration of Impressionist works. Hear the music, poetry and stories of Paris in the late 1800s. We'll provide you with drawing paper and a range of colourful materials to express what inspires you in the Hamilton Brass Quintet's visually suggestive selections!



Summer Children's Art Camp

The Summer Children's Art Camp runs through the month of July and offers a variety of week-long supervised classes in the following areas: drawing, painting, cartooning, animation, inventions, magic, sculpture, crafts. Half-day or full-day enrollment is available, for 5-7 year-olds, 8-10 year-olds and 10-12 year-olds.
Weekly Fees: $150.00


Concerts at the Gallery!

Concerts at the Gallery! is a series of concerts of chamber music, complimenting Visions of Light and Air. There will be coffee, dessert and an informal introduction to each concert at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds go to the Friends of the Hamilton Philharmonic. Tickets are available at the door for $20.00; Students & Seniors $15.00.
