To enrich public knowledge and enjoyment of the art and history of the London region and Canada.


Location - London Regional Art and Historical Museums

The London Regional Art and Historical Museum is located at 421 Ridout Street North in downtown London at the intersection of Dundas and Ridout Streets. Eldon House is located just north at 481 Ridout Street overlooking Harris Park. Both are served by the London Transit Commission. There is ample parking on the LRAHM site as well as several parking lots nearby

Tuesday through Sunday and holidays: noon to 5 pm
Closed Monday
Closed Christmas Day.

Admission

Admission to the London Regional Art and Historical Museum is free. Admission to Eldon House is free
on Tuesday and Sunday (except groups). Other days a nominal fee
is charged.

Show opens September 14, 1996 at LRAHM

NUMBER OF WORKS
Approximately 50 works of art by 23 artists

SPACE REQUIREMENTS
150 running meters (450 running feet), 700 square meters (7,000 square feet)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Borrowers must have controlled environments. All borrowers are responsible for: the unpacking, installing and repacking of the exhibition.

COST
$3,000 rental fee; borrowers pay shipping costs on a pro-rated basis.

INSURANCE
Borrowers must be covered under an all-risk, wall-to-wall fine arts policy.

SHIPPING
Organized by LRAHM, contact Barry Fair, Registrar and Curator of Historical Art, (519) 672-4580. All shipping is by experienced fine-art handlers in climate controlled air-ride vans. Borrowers will pay shipping costs on a pro-rated basis.

CATALOGUE
An illustrated catalogue accompanying the exhibition features an essay by James Patten, Curator of Contemporary Art, London Regional Art and Historical Museums and biographies of the artists. Colour and black and white reproductions.
