Eleanor Lazare eleanor lazare

Eleanor Lazare was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She graduated from Ryerson Polytechnical University, Toronto with a B.A.A. in media studies in 1974. She has worked as a freelance photographer, and was the staff photographer at the Edmonton Art Gallery from 1976 - 1986. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions including FAB Gallery, Edmonton (Through the Looking Glass, 1995) and in 40° Celsius exhibition (1995). She lives and works in Edmonton where she continues to do freelance work and teach photography at the University of Alberta, Visual Communication Design department.
